A few days ago, on 18 November, CERN participated in the biennial "Expanding your Horizons - Geneva" event for the 5th time, at the University of Geneva.

The free event is organised by the "Elargis tes Horizons" association, which belongs to the wider Expanding your Horizons (EYH) network. EYH is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing gateway Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) experiences to middle and high school girls that spark interest in STEM activities and careers. ​

A few days ago, CERN Diversity Programme Leader, Genevieve Guinot participated on panel discussion at the University of Geneva, which focused on diversity management; inclusion and particularly LGBT rights

The topic of sexual harassment has captivated the interest of media as well as sparked discussions in numerous fora the latest weeks.

Sudeshna Datta Cockerill, former CERN Ombudsperson has retired after a reputable career of 41 years at CERN. During this time Sudeshna Datta Cockerill covered a range of roles in HR, including Diversity Programme Leader. At her last presentation at the Tripartite Employment Conditions Forum (TREF), Datta Cockerill gave the presentation  "Diversity at CERN - a personal journey".

Are you motivated to share your ideas? 

LHCreate brings together creative people and scientists from CERN as well as students from IPAC Design Genève. The goal is to build prototype exhibits illustrating what CERN does, why and how. The prototype exhibits introduce the world of particle physics to the general public.

Spouse Welcome is a two-hour event offered to the spouses/partners and families of CERN employees, who are recently relocated in the local area. The aim of the two-hour event? To facilitate integration both socially and professionally.

For the third consecutive year, the CERN Diversity Office facilitated a work group with science teachers on the topic of gender inclusive teaching in the framework of the CERN International Teacher Programme.
This year’s work group outcome is a collaborative tool: inclusivephysics.org.
