The International Gender Champions Geneva Initiative

The International Gender Champions Geneva Initiative is a leadership network that brings together decision makers who commit to promote gender equality. All gender champions sign a panel parity pledge for gender balance when inviting experts for panel discussions. Each champion has committed to two additional measures, which are concrete actions to advance gender equality in their organisation and throughout their work.

In October 2015, Rolf Heuer and Fabiola Gianotti signed together with 41 diplomatic missions and 21 intergovernmental organizations based in Geneva to be International Gender Champions Geneva.
