Sudeshna Datta Cockerill, former CERN Ombudsperson has retired after a reputable career of 41 years at CERN. During this time Sudeshna Datta Cockerill covered a range of roles in HR, including Diversity Programme Leader. At her last presentation at the Tripartite Employment Conditions Forum (TREF), Datta Cockerill gave the presentation "Diversity at CERN - a personal journey". Among other, the presentation refers to the progress of gender balance in the Organization, in correlation to the challenges present in the field in the past.
The baton is now handed over to Pierre Gildemyn, CERN's new Ombudsperson.
